Leading independent wind energy
developer West Coast Energy Limited has entered into a joint
venture with micro generation energy company Ensign Energy Limited,
for the delivery of renewable microgeneration projects throughout
the UK from its established bases in England, Wales and
Scotland. Strategically, the joint venture allows
WCE to diversify into micro generation and provide the capital base
for Ensign to expand its activities into a rapidly growing
market.
The new Company, Ensign Energy
(West Coast) Limited commenced trading on April 12th 2010 and
brings together two experts in renewable energy to play a leading
role in helping the UK reduce its carbon emissions and their impact
on the environment.
Ensign Energy has a proven track
record of delivery of renewable energy products to domestic
customers, public bodies and commercial entities in the two years
that it has been established.
West Coast Energy has generated
over 550MW of wind energy in the last fourteen years and
has
a reputation for maximising the energy generating potential of a
wind development project through innovative problem solving.
Ensign Energy (West Coast) Limited
is an MCS (Micro-generation Certification Scheme) accredited
installer of solar photovoltaic panels, solar thermal heating, air
source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps. It will shortly
also be accredited to install wind turbines. This breadth of
expertise enables the award winning company to offer comprehensive
bespoke packages that meet the specific requirements of each
project.
