West Coast Energy was a proud sponsor of The North Wales
Chrysalis Trust's annual golf day at Mold Golf Club which raised
almost £3,000 for the charity which provides free information,
counselling and support to families who have a child diagnosed with
a life threatening, life limiting or terminal illness as well as
bereavement counselling to parents and siblings following the sad
loss of a baby, child or young adult through illness, accident or
stillbirth.
Based at HM Stanley Hospital in St. Asaph, Chrysalis has a
counselling room at Glan Clwyd Hospital and supports families in
hospital and in the community in Flintshire, Denbighshire and
Conwy. The charity, which needs to find around £80,000 each year
from voluntary contributions celebrated its 10th anniversary in
August.
Fundraising Manager Debbie Barton said: "We are very grateful to
West Coast Energy and all our other sponsors for supporting our
fundraising efforts. We are thrilled with the amount raised which
helps us enormously in our work with local families in
distress."
