The Infrastructure Planning
Commission (IPC) as of the 1st March 2010 has been given
the green light to receive applications for Nationally Significant
Infrastructure Projects (NSIP) such as Wind Energy Developments for
both England and Wales.
This process is designed to greatly
increase the efficiency of the planning process and ensure that
everyone's views are heard, with regards to projects that are
important to the country as a whole.
