Models of products from three major Flintshire companies are now
on public display in the Main Reception area at County Hall,
Mold.
The exhibits were unveiled during Flintshire Business Week and
include a Toyota engine, model of the Airbus A380 and model of a
West Coast Energy wind turbine.
A lifesize Nordex wind turbine would stand at 125m to the blade
tip and produce 2 to 2.5MW of renewable energy.
West Coast Energy is a leading, independent wind energy
developer with over 650MW of green power consented across the
UK. It operates out of its award-winning sustainable head
office at Mold Business Park.
Paula Jewson, Director and co-owner of the West Coast Group of
Companies said "West Coast Energy is extremely proud to be involved
in the Welsh Business Community. Although we have been established
for over 15 years and our group Headquarters is in Mold, not many
people in Flintshire know that they have a successful renewable
energy company on their doorstep. We are keen to showcase, as a
British company, the valuable work we are doing to meet national
renewable energy targets."
