Rob Tate - Managing Director Rob is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a graduate in Mineral Estate Management. With eighteen years experience in securing planning permissions, land assembly and project management for a number of private companies, Rob has spent ten years with West Coast Energy, firstly as Development Director and since November 2008 as Managing Director.
Steve Salt - Planning and Development Director Steve is Geography graduate with a diploma in Town Planning and a member of the RTPI. Prior to joining West Coast Energy he gained local authority, coal board and private sector experience within the planning process, environmental and conservation policy making and landfill and reclamation projects. Since 2000 he has been responsible for the planning and development services to the renewable energy sector within West Coast Energy.
Michael Tough - Technical Director Mike is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and also has a PhD in Solar Energy and an Advanced Course in Production Methods and Management. Mike joined West Coast Energy from EnergieKontor UK, where he had responsibility for onshore and offshore development activities throughout the UK. Mike's primary role within WCE is to optimise developed projects for sale or construction and lead negotiations with potential buyers, project financiers and contractors.
